Baker’s Dozen of Blues: July 4, 2016 Tribute to America

Let’s start with our new #1 for the week – Harper & The Midwest Kind. We have known Peter for many years and are always excited to hear his music and to see him live on stage -as opposed to not alive on stage. Happy for him and the band to have achieved this level of success not only with us but with audiences around the world. Congrats brother.

Our new addition is from Texas, The Mark May Band. Mark has been bringing them blues to us for many years and deserves some love and respect from y’all – so check him out.

Our Amuse Bouche features Blues Tunes to celebrate America’s birthday, enjoy!

Later this week we are off to Greenwood, SC for serious BBQ competition and a great lineup of Blues Musicians. Thank you Gary Erwin for doing a tremendous job bringing them blues to SC for these many years. See ya there.

As part of our Music City Blues Kitchen programming, we are off to Nashville again to sit with and record some great artists from the area. We look forward to hanging our with them and learning more about their path and view on music. This is made possible through The Galaxie Agency and Gina Hughes.
Before I forget – we are running parts 1&2 of the Stacy Mitchhart interview this week on alternate days, then Friday we will back to back it so you get the full Monty (sort of speak). Look for our sit down with Hurricane Ruth coming up July 11th!
