Baker’s Dozen of Blues: December 19, 2016

The Fabulous Thunderbirds featuring Kim Wilson are now at the top of the chart this week. They are a fabulous band of solid musicians who never fail to energize an audience, see them if you can.

Our Amuse Bouche features
2016 Jimi Award Winners. This is the first of two segments (new one next week) featuring artists and songs from our winners in the various categories. You can check out the official post by clicking here. This announcement reached over 20,000 folks via Facebook and social media. We did not take into account the other posts referring folks to the award page, so it was a great thing for all nominees as the word got out heavy and often inside our community and we only hope that each of them get some love from it.

The Blues Foundation‘s run up to the Blues Music Awards is moving into it’s second phase. All submissions are in and have been reviewed by the nominating committee and Round Two will begin shortly. Good luck to all, and can’t wait to see who makes the final cut for voting.
