Without a doubt one of our favorite bands is the Alexis P. Suter Band and they are at the top of the heap this week. Featuring sultry baritone voiced Alexis, with Vicki Bell, Ray Grappone and them Bennett Boys they are one of the most original sounding bands out there. Hope you get a chance to check them out.

Our one new addition this week is Vaneese Thomas, and I know you will be digging her sound as you get to hear more from her as the weeks progress.

Our Amuse Bouche features artists who are playing at the Daytona Blues Festival. It’s a three day festival of blues, community and total goodness. Dates are October 7, 8, 9 in Daytona Beach Florida. A super line up with triple-r-est-timesFriday being Woman In Blues Day. Blues411 is proud to be the MC for the event and we are so looking forward to the tribe coming together again.

We have just added another DJ and show to the Blues411 Internet Radio Family. Triple R Blues. Hosted by Ton he comes to us from the Netherlands and will be bringing us hot European blues every week starting Saturday September 24th at 6:00 pm EST.
Be sure to give a listen and let us know what ya think.

The 25th Pennsylvania Blues Festival was an absolute blast with epic performances by some of the top blues musicians around. We want to thank Michael Cloeron and his dedicated group of associates for yet another great event.

It was great to catch up with our Northern posse and see some folks who we have dearly missed since our migration south.

Our GoFundMe campaign is at 150% funded. That means that y’all have given very generously and provided us with funds to keep the Blues Thriving well into 2017 and beyond.

Once again we cannot thank all of you enough for the generosity and support, we will not let you down.
