GOFUNDME CAMPAIGN HUGE SUCCESS

In just 5 days our GoFundMe campaign reached and topped it’s goal – thanks to all who donated and shared the campaign, we are deeply touched and appreciative.
What this does is allow us to continue bringing you the very best carefully curated blues and DJ’s who bring the music to life with insights and information. Thank you, thank you and thank you.
If you wish to join the folks who have contributed please feel free as we will keep the campaign alive until further notice.

This week we have a veteran, military & Blues, at the top of the charts. Bobby Blackhat Walters, went to the finals of the 2016 IBC in Memphis and made a great showing for himself and the band. Their release is well worthy of a spot in your collection, so do it!

mojowax-03d2989a-31cf-4844-845c-315f1add53d5-v2One debut, but a azz kickin one, Dennis Gruenling and his Ready or Not release.

Our Amuse Bouche features artists who are playing at the Pennsylvania Blues Festival. It happens this weekend in Lake Harmony, PA and you can read our chat up with the man behind it all (and more) right here…http://blues411.com/pennsylvania-blues-festival-25th-aniversary/

jasonJason Ricci did a free gig at the town of Port Royal, SC and just blew the crowd away. It was great to see Jason and the Bad Kind, kick back and play some great music and am happy to say Jason is as good as ever and maybe even better.

Thank you to JW Rone  for putting on 10 years of Street Music featuring many exceptional blues bands. We hope to keep this going for another ten years!

ted-drozdowski-mcbkOur Music City Blues Kitchen show will begin Monday at NOON. It wil feature Ted Drozdowski. Don’t know Ted? He is the lead man of the band The Scissormen, KBA winner, author and raconteur. But these words don’t add up to the sum that he is – and he is all that.

Ted sits with us and chats about music, writing hill country music, zydeco, and even plays us a tune or two that you will hear nowhere else but on Blues411 Internet Radio.

We want to give a special shout out to our sister/wife Wendy Schumer for providing us with video feeds live from the Big Blues Bender in Las Vegas this past weekend. Swing over to our Facebook page (Blues411) to see clips from Kenny Neal, Royal Southern Brotherhood, Bob Margolin, Mr. Sipp  and so many more I can’t fit them all in.
