A Baker’s Dozen of Blues: November 7, 2016

There is no way of avoiding it – this is election week and we need each and every one of you to get your self out to vote. Yeah the system sucks, and to some both of the candidates are as desirable as genital herpes, but a no vote is giving away your rights. ‘Nuff said.

Our number 1 band this week is non other than the Bridget Kelly Band. Always exciting and a fan favorite we are always happy to have them on our chart and more so when they reach the top,

With Halloween in the rear view mirror and the extra candy in the dish, I wanted to celebrate by having an Amuse Bouche salute that sweet tooth in us all.

Our November Guest Curator is none other than Zac Harmon.  Zac is a former IBC winner who has blazed a path of true blues and he will be sharing his music, insights and the music that defines the blues to him. His show started on November 1. If past performance is any indicator of future action then his show will rank among the most listened to on Blues411 Radio.

It’s getting close to the Blues411 Jimi Award time, we will be reviewing the year and see how we see it in retrospect, stay tuned. The IBC is just about two months away, preceeded by the Legendary Rhythm & Blues Cruise so things are gonna be hectic. Also coming up is the Clearwater Sea Blues Festival, find out more by visiting our Festival Sponsor page.
