FLASH TRIBUTES TO LONNIE MACK & PRINCE PLAYING ON BLUES411 RADIO

The Nick Moss Band at Fiery Ron’s BBQ joint on Saturday night was so great, it’s been too long between visits.  Then on Sunday we got a chance to catch up with our friend Mary Bridget Davies and enjoy her Tony nominated performance in A Night With Janis Joplin. Just exceptional times had by us all.

Our number one song for this week is by King Edward. A blues veteran of 50 years Edward has been turning out real blues in Mississippi and hope ya dig on what he’s putting down.

Two new debuts this week, The Jon Spear Band and Jeff Jensen Band. Both of these recordings are live, and give a great feel of what theses bands are all about – energy and damn good music.

Lots of folks these days are saying they support the music and artists but in order to do that ya gotta get up off your rusty dusty rump and go see live music, and that’s the truth.

Next week it’s BMA time and to honor that epic event,we will feature Drinkin’ songs in our Amuse Bouche section, so bottle it up and go!
